  • How does Florida registration work?
    Customers have the option to renew their vehicle registrations for a duration of one or two years. Renewal can be done up to three months before the registration expires. It's important to note that vehicle registrations expire at midnight on the first owner's birth date, unless the owner is a business.

    Penalties for No Valid Registration: Fine of up to $500. Jail time of up to 60 days. Probation period of up to six months.

    If you are moving residences and changing states, you must register your out-of-state vehicle in Florida within 30 days of becoming a resident here. However, it's important to note that establishing residency entails more than just living in the state.
  • How long does it take to receive my new license plate?
    Typically, it takes 7-10 business days for your new license plate to be delivered by mail after registration. However, we will issue you a temporary license plate that can be used for either 10, 30, or 90 days, depending on the purpose, while you await the permanent one.
