

New Tag Registration:
If you do not have a license plate or record of a license plate registered in your name for a vehicle previously owned (in Florida), you will be required to submit and pay the initial registration fee in order to transfer that vehicle's ownership. The initial registration must take place in person at a local service center at the time of titling by submitting the following:

Proof of identity (required for all owners, driver license a passport can be used)

Proof of Florida Insurance (if you don't have it yet, we can provide you one)

Complete with us the application for Certificate of Title with/without registration

Before get done your new tag registration, you can choose to get regular license plates for your newly purchased vehicle or customized license plates in a wide range of colors and designs.
Standard Plates:
Florida's standard license plate options are metal plates governed by section 320.06, Florida Statutes. We offers three standard license plate options including the "County Name" (not available in all counties), "Sunshine State" and "In God We Trust" plate.
Renewing a Registration:
Customers can renew their vehicle registration for a period of one or two years. The decal renewal process can start three months before the expiration date.
Vehicle registrations expire at midnight on the first owner’s birth date unless the owner is a business.
What documents do I need?

You would need a United States valid driver license .

If you do not qualify for a driver license a passport can be used as form of ID.

Valid Florida auto insurance.
Acquiring a Title:
In order to obtain a certificate of title, you will need to bring the following documents:

Proof of identity

Proof of required insurance coverage. If you don't have insurance yet, we can provide you.

Complete with us an application for certificate of Title With/Without Registration

Pay applicable sales tax and title and registration fees.

Tranfer a Title:
In order to tranfer your car title to a new owner you must have the following documents:

The current title, signed by both the seller and buyer.

A bill of sale (containing the odometer reading, price of the vehicle and signatures of all parties involved in the sale).

Payments for all sales tax, title fees and registration fees.

Valid driver's license, ID card or passaport.

Out of State Titles:
If you have purchased a vehicle that was titled in a different state, or inherited a vehicle from your parents who live in another state, there are certain things you need to do in order to title your car in Florida. The first document you will need is the letter from the previous owner (if you are buying from a dealer this will most likely be provided by the dealer) which contains the current mileage of the car, year model and vin number. Next you will need to present transfer of ownership documents (registration if your state requires it) and out of state title along with two pieces of proof that show Florida residency. The best forms of proof are utility bills, renters/lease agreement or anything else that has your name and address on it. Once you provide us all the named documents, we will do the rest for you.
